Dr. Jenny Souster is is a pediatric neurosurgeon, educator and mother. She is the the first woman to complete the University of Alberta neurosurgery training program. Dr. Souster is currently an Assistant Clinical Professor of Neurosurgery in the Department of Surgery at the University of Alberta and is one of three pediatric neurosurgeons at the Stollery Children’s Hospital. She maintains an adult practice, specializing in endoscopic pituitary surgery and Cushing’s disease, as well as complex adult hydrocephalus. She is the assistant program director of the UofA neurosurgery residency program, the competency committee chair and the neurosurgery undergraduate student coordinator.
