Black Tie Affair

Our Black Tie Affair was introduced in the 2014-2015 academic year and is an annual, ongoing event hosted on Women's History Month (March). A STEM-related topic is selected each year and several renowned keynote speakers are invited to share their experiences on topics such as leadership, research, and career development with a focus on empowerment. This elegant evening acts as a vibrant networking opportunity for students, educators, and STEM professionals; featuring local entertainment, photobooths, dinner, and so much more

A project that differs every year based on what the

committee plans to get involved with. In previous years, we have made a gathered feedback from various STEM students, interviewed professors, and showcased current students to highlight their experiences in their respective fields. Join our Newsletter for more information!
